Our Team
Randy Kientz, E.A.
Randy has worked on both sides of the fence. He has worked with the IRS as a Revenue Agent and also prepared tax returns, both business and personal, for over 12 years. He believes it is important to listen closely to the client. Every morsel of information could make a difference on the client’s tax return.
Randy doesn’t have the usual background for an accountant. He has traveled the world, taught middle school, worked with challenged youth as a group home counselor, and coached future Olympians/Pac 10 soccer players.
He has been involved with business since he was a young man, from mowing lawns to running his own window cleaning business. He figured out early on that running your own business is a great way to go!
In his spare time, Randy enjoys recumbent biking on the Olympic Trail, camping, listening to sports podcasts, playing fantasy baseball, and traveling. He loves spending time with his young son and wife.
Kari Gentry
Kari, a small business owner and former middle school and high school teacher, joined the Omega staff in 2015. She brought many skills with her and has continued her education with classes in accounting, QuickBooks, and income tax preparation. She enjoys her job and says that it’s Omega’s wonderful clients that make it so great. Kari handles the payrolls, quarterlies, QuickBooks and other accounting needs for most of our bookkeeping clients.
In her spare time, Kari loves being with her family of four generations (all living on the Peninsula), hanging out in the great outdoors, cooking, and running off to their little cabin in the woods with her hubby of forty years.
